Both Senior and Junior Girls Soccer teams at Wauchope High School are powering ahead in their respective knockout competitions to defeat any team that comes their way.
For the Junior Girls who are competing for the Bill Turner Trophy, Wauchope High defeated Taree High recently, with a significant win resulting in 9-1. All team members played exceptionally well with the goals spread widely across the team. Rebecca Lloyd scored 2 goals, along with Emily Lester who also scored 2, while single goals were scored by team mates Abbey Watson, Georgia Dornan, Larissa Ward, Zoe Blair and Olivia Burn.
The Wauchope High CHS Open Girls Soccer team recently defeated Westport High School with an outstanding level of team-work to score 6-1. This was followed by a very close and challenging game against Ballina High which saw some close shaves, but Wauchope swooped in to have a final win of 1-0.
