Hastings Public School’s Jacqueline Voltz (2H) competed in the Australian Outback Marathon 6km race at Uluru on Saturday, July 28, placing first in the Girls U14 category. It was certainly an amazing place to run with Uluru in the background. Track consisted of red dirt roads and sand dunes, which were quite soft in places. A great effort considering Jacqueline is only 8yrs old. Dan Voltz also competed in the marathon.
