Heritage Christian School students Billy Sewell and Jack Hazelgrove joined world champion cyclist and Port Macquarie resident Jason English for an epic bike ride.
The trio joined other local riders in Alice Springs on the weekend for a week-long stage race Rapid Ascent.
Sewell is looking at defending his win in the juniors from last year.
He is also the current Under 19 National Champion so he is expected to place well overall.
English has also gone back to defend the overall win from last year.
