THE tide is setting on the Australian Surf Festival, with most of the events now run and won.
A lack of big waves hasn’t dampened the enthusiasm of surfers, with most glad to enjoy the early spring conditions in Port Macquarie.

The Western Australian surfer defeated Queenslander Erin Dark and Victorian Sam Suenderman to claim the title.
The winner of the open men’s title was Sapphire Beach surfer Jared Neal, who defeated local Ian Bell and Queenslander Nic Jones.
