The Women’s Refuge has been the beneficiary of generous donations by the Hastings Ladies’ Social Golf Club.
Among the many activities held on the group’s presentation day recently, was a donation to The Women’s Refuge.
This year the club made a commitment to assist a local group in need of support and the members agreed that the Women’s Refuge in Port Macquarie was very deserving of their efforts.
All members generously contributed items required, filling a giant bag for presentation to the Women’s Refuge representative, Alia Westerway, at the Hastings Ladies Social Golf presentation day luncheon.
The club will continue to make similar donations to organisations with similar needs.
