Flamin’ Dragons Dragon Boat Club is holding a Come and Try Day.
On Saturday, August 25, the club is inviting people to come along to the Marina at Westport Park from 9am to come and have a go at paddling a dragon boat. If you are over the age of 12 years and have ever wanted to try something different, come down and have a go.
All you need is some clothes that you don’t mind getting a little water on and some footwear that can get wet, a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat. There will be coaches in attendance and life jackets available. There will be a BBQ after your paddle if you want to stay and talk about paddling. Everyone is welcome to come and have a go and, if there are any men out there who want to come, please do.
