Weerama magic

THOUSANDS of people turned out for the Weerama Festival last weekend despite the ordinary weather. Watton St was closed on Sunday as the parade, featuring Wyndham celebrities like circus great Roy Maloy and Prime Minister Julia Gillard, entertained children and adults alike. There was a petting zoo, a ferris wheel, a giant bubble making section and of course, fairy floss and dagwood dogs.
