A TEENAGER is recovering in hospital after being assaulted with a baseball bat and a knife in Braybrook last week.
Police believe two Asian males attacked the 18-year-old on South Rd about 10.30pm last Wednesday.
They stole his mobile phone and drove off in a red coupe.
The teenager sustained cuts to the arm and head and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Police have spoken to witnesses and have encouraged anyone else who might have seen the incident to come forward. Witnesses can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
