TRAIN services will be interrupted due to level crossing upgrades in Yarraville and Spotswood on 15 and 16 October.
Buses will replace all trains between Footscray, Newport and Williamstown at the weekend.
The replacement buses will connect with trains, travelling to and from the city at Footscray.
Trains to and from Werribee will connect with buses at Newport.
Trains between Werribee and Newport will operate to an altered timetable with journey times being extended by up to 20 minutes.
Detours will be in place for motorists at crossings in Yarraville and Spotswood at the weekend.
