Glenn Goodfellow

GLENN Goodfellow is one of the few candidates willing to make election promises.
The volunteer CFA member and partmanager of a family tourist bus is a lifelong Wyndham resident and said he would hold community meetings within three months – if elected.
Then he would log and followup all local concerns.
“I want to be a real voice for the residents,” Mr Goodfellow said.
He has no political affiliation, believing it has no place in local government.
His concern about being seen as independent has led to his resignation as secretary of the Truganina brigade while seeking election.
“There must be no conflicts of interest.”
As a former financial planner, Mr Goodfellow knows the difficulty of spending limited money on badlyneeded infrastructure.
He wants developers to play a stronger role in providing services on new estates.
“People move out here because they don’t want the concrete jungles,” he said.
A leader of his area’s junior CFA, Mr Goodfellow wanted to do more for Wyndham’s youth, as well as its ageing residents.
