BRAYBROOK’S Quang Minh Temple will be complete by September 2007.
Ray Ferguson, Temple spokesman, said the temple officers appreciated very much the recent federal grant of $165,000.
The money is part of the Regional Partnerships Program, and will go towards the cost of building and equipping a community kitchen in the $7 million redevelopment.
Mr Ferguson said the new kitchen would run as part of the community services facility on the bottom level of the temple.
It will become a training kitchen for hospitality students and the disadvantaged would be given food there.
Workman will landscape the grounds when the temple is eventually finished.
