ALBION Primary School is rocking and rolling after scooping 12 awards in this year’s Junior Rock Eisteddfod Challenge.
The school entered a performance, titled Our Restaurant Rocks, that featured dancing cups, teapots and chickens.
Coordinator Jann Turner said the school won an award in every category for the stagerelated section.
“We did really well. The sponsor Maybelline gives out an award on the night for ‘most entertaining’ and we received it, so we are pretty happy about that,” Ms Turner said.
Eighty students from years three to six took part in Albion’s performance before an audience of about 2000 people at Vodafone Arena last Thursday.
