WESTERN Health is set to receive more than $1.5 million worth of new medical equipment.
The Sunshine, Western and Williamstown Hospitals will all benefit from new anaesthetic monitors and the addition or construction of a recovery room unit.
Sunshine Hospital will receive a $217,000 laparoscopic tower for keyhole surgery.
