BRIMBANK residents will have their first chance to be involved in the development of the Brimbank Community Plan at the first community conversation event tonight at Cairnlea Hub.
It is one of a series of events planned for March and April at which community members can have their say about issues and opportunities for Brimbank that they believe should be explored as part of the community plan.
Everyone has been invited to take part in the process, which will help to develop a 20-year direction for the community and council.
This will play a central role in the council’s medium to long-term strategic planning, provide a vision for the community and identify key priorities that the community and council want to see addressed.
Other community conversations are scheduled for 3 April, 7pm-9pm at Glengala Community Centre, West Sunshine; 12 April, from 10am-2pm at Errington Community Centre, St Albans; 15 April, 7pm-9pm at Sydenham Community Centre; 23 April, 7pm-9pm at Keilor Conference Room, Keilor Municipal Offices, Old Calder Highway.
To RSVP for the events, phone 9249 4383, or email communityplanning@brimbank.vic.gov.au
