New monthly evening immunisation sessions will be held at Banchory Community Centre, in Banchory Ave, Hillside.
The first session was held on Thursday, between 6.30pm and 7.15pm.
Melton Shire Council mayor Bruce Rowan said the new venue would be a welcome alternative for parents using the immunisation service at Parkwood Green.
“With rapidly increasing numbers of infants and children within the shire there is a greater need to provide additional and more accessible venues for immunisation sessions.”
“This new monthly immunisation session at Banchory Community Centre is another example of Melton Shire Council delivering on its promises for more infant and children’s services.”
Parents should also be aware that the monthly morning immunisation session at Melton Community Hall now start one hour later at 10.15am.
