LOCAL needy people got a boost over Christmas-New Year with Manor Lakes, in Wyndham Vale, and Rose Grange, in Tarneit, combining to donate $1200 worth of food vouchers to Werribee Housing and Support.
WHS is a not-for-profit organisation that helps families and individuals in need with donations of food, as well as providing support and advice.
Adele Levinge, executive director of the Dennis Family Corporation, the developer of Manor Lakes and Rose Grange, said the company chose to support WHS to try to ease some of the pressure of Christmas on people who struggled to pay their rent or mortgage, or just buy basic food for the table.
