Holiday fun for the kids

By YASEMIN TALAT

School holiday activities in Wyndham are in full swing with plenty of fun-filled programs for children to enjoy.
This week, until Friday, children can enjoy decorating cookies at Point Cook Town Centre from 11am-2pm.
Then it’s all singing, all dancing in week two with an exclusive live performance by Lalaloopsy on centre stage daily at 11am and 1pm.
Point Cook Town Centre will be the first shopping centre in Australia to present the Lalaloopsy Stage Show.
Children will have the chance to meet their favourite rag doll at 12pm each day from 8 July to 12 July.
Marketing Manager of the Point Cook Town Centre, Shane McKernan, said the free activities were great for kids of all ages.
“If you’re looking to keep the kids busy these school holidays we have lots of exciting activities,” Mr McKernan said.
The festivities continue this week at Werribee Plaza with The Jungle Book live shows.
Mowgli and Baloo will be on stage daily at 11am and 1pm, including on the weekend.
In week two children will find themselves in a herb village as eco-warrior Dirt Girl comes to perform.
Children can also learn about sustainability and decorate their own eco-friendly pot and plant their own herbs.
Marketing Manager of Werribee Plaza Jodi Meadows said the plaza was focused on engaging with the community.
“We have a lot of community activities where people can meet and enjoy family time along with getting their shopping all done,” she said.
