Fun raising

PUPILS from Manorvale Primary School, including Grade 6 students Hawa and Hayden, have invited residents to attend a fundraising Twilight Movie Night and Mini Fete on 11 November. The event is being held to raise funds for equipment and furniture for a new gym at the Werribee school, which will be completed in 2012. Last year, the school’s new recreation centre was burned down three days before it was due to open. Police charged two males with starting the blaze, which caused millions of dollars in damage. The film and fete night will include stall holders, an animal farm, jumping castle and fun activities. Tickets are $10, including a drink and popcorn.  The event will be held at the school grounds in Greaves St. 72595 Picture: DAMJAN JANEVSKIPUPILS from Manorvale Primary School, including Grade 6 students Hawa and Hayden, have invited residents to attend a fundraising Twilight Movie Night and Mini Fete on 11 November.
