A RALLY to support multi-culturalism will be held in Footscray on 20 May.
Socialist Alliance member Ben Courtice said the rally was organised to protest against attacks on Muslims and “the Howard Government’s racism” towards Muslims.
Maribyrnong City Council has given its support to the principles of the rally and acting mayor Michael Clarke will speak on the day.
The rally will run from 12 noon and will be held in the Nicholson St Mall.
