MARIBYRNONG City Council launched their 2006 Passport to Work program for 30 job seekers last week.
The free program is in its third year and is part of the council’s Business Engagement Strategy, which links corporate volunteers with Maribyrnong residents who need assistance.
The council offers pre-employment training and mentoring for long-term unemployed job seekers or newly arrived migrants as part of a 16 weeks program.
