THE next big Hollywood or small screen celebrity could come from Wyndham with a leading casting director coming to Werribee.
Maria Efthymiopolous from 2Divas Casting will visit the Screen Actors Australia Studio in Watton St to scour through the best talent the municipality has to offer.
Ms Efthymiopolous has worked in the industry for more than 18 years and is responsible for casting many television commercials and even films.
Director of Screen Actors Australia, Robyn Duse, said it was a chance for experience actors to possible make it big in the industry.
“2Divas are constantly looking for new faces for types of advertising campaigns, so we encourage all students and experienced actors from the general public to get involved in this casting session,” Ms Duse said.
“All students are required to bring along a headshot and resume on the day before your audition time and this will be kept on 2Divas database for future castings which will open up many more doors for all of our actors.”
The casting session will be held on Saturday 16 March and actors are advised to arrive at the studio, located at Level 1, 93 Watton St, at 12.15 pm for an industry related speech by Maria before they are allocated a 15 minute timeslot for their audition.
