TWO men will face court after being caught shooting rabbits near homes in Sunshine North.
At around 2pm on 19 September, police were called to a housing estate near River Valley Boulevard where they apprehended two men with .22 rifles.
The men, a 25-year-old from St Albans and a 28-year-old from Deer Park, had been shooting rabbits in parkland not far from the estate.
Although the men were licensed to hold firearms, they are alleged to have fired their weapons in a built-up area, which is illegal.
