AT 150 kilograms he is definitely bigger than your average 13-year-old, but that did not stop one happy teenager enjoying a special birthday treat. Yakini, one of three gorillas at the Werribee Open Range Zoo, received a special birthday surprise from keepers last week as he celebrated his birthday. Three large candles, almost big enough to satisfy a gorilla’s appetite, filled with nutritious snacks were presented to Yakini before his father Motaba and brother Ganyeka could get their hands on them.
