THE IRAMOO Community Centre in Wyndham Vale will hold a fundraising event for a local family, whose beloved mother died suffering from breast cancer early this year. The centre’s manager Linda Beyerle said the former Iramoo staff member passed away, leaving a husband and two daughters aged under five years old. The event has been dubbed the ‘Purple Night In’, as the girl’s mother loved the colour, and will be held on Friday 7 October from 6.30-9.30pm. “Entry fee of $10 includes supper. All funds raised will be going directly to the family,” Ms Beyerle said.
