PSO caught drink driving

A PROTECTIVE Service Officer (PSO) was caught drink driving in Werribee late last month.
The off duty man was pulled over at a booze bus on Derrimut Rd just before 10.30pm on Sunday 29 January.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the man underwent a breath test and returned a blood alcohol reading of .09 per cent, almost double the legal limit.
“The PSO, who is based in the North West Metro Region, received a penalty notice for exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol, resulting in a $366 fine and six months cancellation of licence,” the spokesperson said. The Ethical Standards Department is now investigating the matter.
