IT WAS three times as many tears in a Wyndham Vale household last week as triplets set off for their first day of school.
Taylah, Kalan and Brooke Rose reached a milestone in their lives as their parents Mark and Anthea prepared for some well deserved respite.
The kids will join their older brother Ben, who is starting grade two, at Thomas Chirnside Primary School.
“I will definitely be sad. It’s a big milestone for any kids and their parents,” Mr Rose told Star.
“It’s a matter of will there be tears from the kids or tears from the parents?”
All three children will be in different classes, which Mr Rose said was done intentionally so they could learn to be different.
“It’s so they don’t always get called the triplets,” he said.
“We want to give them some individuality. They’ve all got very different personalities.”
Mr Rose said he and his wife were looking forward to a chance to relax a little bit.
