WITH a name like Xanthas Xavier Andrewartha, this young Little River resident was always bound to be a bit special. But for the Little River Primary School Student with the unique name it is his birthday that is causing a stir. Xanthas will turn 11 on 11 November this year, or on 11/11/11. The school is very excited as the unique youngster from the small town on the edge of Wyndham, best known as the setting for the Mad Max film’s highway scenes, is getting ready to celebrate his birthday. Principal of the school, Pamela Heane, said Xanthas was loved by everyone who meets him. “Xanthas loves computers and computer games and is very talented at helping others, even the teachers,” Ms Heane said. His favourite sport is fencing but he also likes karate swimming. He also loves to read and is enjoying the Eragon and Harry Potter series of books.
