A WERRIBEE man had his vehicle impounded after he was caught driving 85 kilometres above the speed limit last week.
On Tuesday 2 April just before 10pm the P-plate driver was detected travelling at 185km in a 100km zone in Laverton.
Hobson’s Bay Highway Patrol members intercepted the 18-year-old speeding on the Princes Highway.
It’s alleged he was driving a white Holden ute, which was later impounded under the hoon legislation for 30 days.
The man is expected to be charged on summons with exceed speed, speed dangerous and other related traffic offences.
