MELTON Shire residents are being encourage to attend a careers expo being run by the council this month.
The annual event is aimed at providing school leavers, students, graduates, job seekers and those considering a career change with a range of career and further education information.
The expo also provides parents, guardians and carers with information to support young people as they consider their future study and career options.
Melton Shire mayor Renata Cugliari said it was important that young people and job seekers made informed career choices.
“The careers expo offers access to information on a range of careers and study options,” Cr Cugliari said.
The expo will be held on Thursday 20 August at the Melton Youth Facility, 193 Barries Road, Melton, from 6pm to 8.30pm. Queries, call 9747 7200.
