IT’S Keeping Up With the Kardashians, City of Maribyrnong style.
Khloe Kardashian will visit Highpoint Shopping Centre on 20 November as part of a whirlwind Australian tour to celebrate the recent launch of the new ready-to-wear Kardashian Kollection.
Khloe and sister Kim gave Star an insight into their new Kollection last week, which includes a mix of clothes, jewellery, sunglasses, handbags, hosiery and denim that reflects Khloe, Kim and Kourtney’s personal style.
For the first time, the Kardashian Kollection also includes a line of shoes designed exclusively for Australia in partnership with RMK Shoes.
“I’m so excited, I love Australia, I could move there – and any day I would love to,” Khloe said.
“Our Kardashian Kollection is obviously one of our biggest passions, and we have some phenomenal graphic prints, some large floral prints, a lot of black and white and we’re also launching our shoes for the very first time in Australia, and that is something that we’re so excited about and we’ve been working very hard on.
“I think the biggest plus about our line is you have three different sisters who definitely have our own style, our own likes and personalities, so you have three different designers for one line, so you get a little bit of everything, and I think that’s the perk and why, in my opinion, it does so well.”
Kim added: “We have so many amazing shoes – we have really cool pointy-toe pumps with lazer-cut detailing on the back, full suede pumps with all these straps.
“We have some cute flats, too, a fun wedge, and a little caged bootie that I really like. We have amazing shoes.”
Khloe said her favourite piece in the Kollection was a pair of basic suede stiletto that comes in black and red with detailing on the toes that “gives that sexy toe cleavage”, while Kim favoured printed yellow dress with a graphic print.
Both sisters agreed that confidence – and a little bit of shape wear – was a must-have for being stylish in any situation.
“Confidence is key, but also, I feel like shape wear on the red carpet is a big thing, because you feel smoother, more put together – I am not shy of shape wear – and you have to dress for your own body, even if it’s a trend make sure that it’s something that flatters your body,” Khloe said.
“Pick your favourite body part and accentuate that.”
