Boy, 17, arrested after robbery

A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged after a robbery in Footscray last week.
A 27-year-old man was allegedly bailed up while walking along McNab Avenue, near the Footscray Railway Station, on 5 May about 6.15pm.
The boy’s arrest came as police continued their move to crack down on street crime and armed hold-ups.in the West because of a recent rise in those types of crimes.
He was bailed to reappear in court at a later date.
