Bulldogs claim U18 flag

POINT Cook claimed the under-18 Division Two Western Region Football League premiership on Sunday when they defeated Deer Park by 35 points. The Bulldogs dominated the opening quarter, kicking six goals to two and were never challenged from there. Zac Foley was a star on the Point Cook forward line, kicking five goals to be the dominant forward on the ground. He was well supported by Jessi and Jordan Lampi who proved to be one giant headache for Deer Park. The twins were unstoppable around the ground, kicking five goals between them and were named the best two players. For Deer Park, David Briscoe and Dyson Stevens both kicked two goals while Jay Millington continued his outstanding year to be named the Lions’ best player. The 12.9 (81) to 6.10 (46) result is just desserts for the Bulldogs who went through the regular season undefeated, winning 16 games, five more than their nearest rival.70288 Picture: KRISTIAN SCOTTPOINT Cook claimed the under-18 Division Two Western Region Football League premiership on Sunday when they defeated Deer Park by 35 points.
