POLICE are investigating two burglaries on newly-built homes in Wyndham Vale, including one in which a kitchen sink was stolen.
Between 3-6 February, offenders broke into a recently-constructed residence in Iluka Drive.
They stole some carpets and the sink before fleeing the scene.
In another incident, a Townsend St home was broken into between 25-27 January.
A male forced his way into the house through a garage internal door. Once inside, he stole two CCTV cameras, including one from the garage wall.
Police said the offender also apparently looked through drawers inside the house, possibly searching for a recording device.
