TWO men were injured following a truck accident at Melton South on the afternoon of Sunday 5 July.
Advanced life support paramedics from Darley and Deer Park attended the accident on Exford Rd about 2.40pm.
Team manager Andrew Wilson said paramedics arrived to find the two men trapped in the truck’s cabin.
“It appears a B-double truck and a tray truck collided, forcing the tray truck into a power pole. The two men were trapped in the tray truck by their legs. The CFA worked for more than an hour to cut them free.”
