EXPRESSIONS of interest are being called for from Caroline Springs residents with a love for scouting.
Scouts district commissioner Tom Hickey wants to start a Caroline Springs scouting group and is encouraging residents between the ages of six and 26 to contact him.
The scouting movement was founded in 1907 by Lord Robert Baden-Powell and has gone from strength to strength since its establishment.
Mr Hickey said scouts focused on encouraging young people to take responsible risks and develop life skills.
Mr Hickey urged anyone interested in becoming a scout in Caroline Springs to call 0411 461 495.
