Hammer time

STUDENTS from a Hoppers Crossing special school were given the chance to develop some essential skills last week. Bunnings Hoppers Crossing donated material and tools for 25 students from Warringa Park Special School to build wooden tool boxes for Father’s Day. Middle years teacher at Warringa Park, Peter, said the children learned valuable skills from the session last Tuesday, including doing things in order and listening to instructions. Bunnings also donated staff member Antionette Spiteri’s time so she could teach the students how to build the toll boxes first hand. Thomas, left, with Roger, Liam and Antoinette from Bunnings, said he liked hammering the nails into the tool box. Xxxx Picture: XAVIER SMERDON
