VICROADS has repainted a zebra crossing that attracted the ire of a Footscray resident recently.
Mum Pam Taylor has been chasing VicRoads for the past month trying to get the zebra crossing at the Hopkins and Moore streets intersection repainted.
Ms Taylor uses the route to walk her six-year-old son Brayden to and from school and said too many students were at risk of being hit by a car because drivers could not see the crossing.
Ms Taylor was outraged when she got into contact with VicRoads last month and was told it would take at least three weeks to do.
Gemma Beard from VicRoads said the zebra crossing had been repainted on Monday.
