RACHEL Jarry has continued to take the basketball world by storm, adding a WNBA Championship to her trophy cabinet. Jarry’s team, the Minnesota Lynx swept the Atlanta Dream 3-0 in the best of five championship series.
The Point Cook local had almost 10 minutes of court time throughout the series and scored two points.
During the regular season she played in 27 matches for Minnesota and averaged a tick under seven minutes of court time per game.
The latest win continues what has been an amazing early career for Jarry who also claimed an Olympic bronze medal with the Opals at the London Games last year.
She will now turn her attention to the Australian Women’s National Basketball season with her side the Melbourne Boomers.
