A TARNEIT man has been arrested for taking part in a violent armed robbery in Melbourne earlier this year.
Senior Constable Adam West from Victoria Police said the 24-year-old Tarneit man had been arrested along with three other people in relation to the robbery which took place at a gaming venue in the Melbourne CBD on 19 February.
“The incident occurred in Swanston Street around 2am and it is alleged that two men tied up an employee before stealing cash,” Sen Const West said.
“Those arrested include a 28-year-old Altona Meadows man, a 27-year-old man from Lalor, a 27-year-old woman from Lalor and a 24-year-old Tarneit man.”
Senior Const West said the four arrested people were assisting police with their inquiries and that a number of warrants had also been executed while the investigation would be continuing.
