WYNDHAM’S children, including Chloe, pictured, from Point Cook, were encouraged to get their hands dirty last week as school holidays came to an end. The Werribee Plaza held a range of events to keep the kids entertained including performances from Dirtgirl. The Dirtgirl Show taught children about sustainability and getting “grubby” with gardening. Jodi Meadows from the plaza said it was hoped the events would also create a spark in the young people of Wyndham. “Through our July school holiday activity program we hope to not only keep local children entertained but also inspire them and educate them on sustainability,” Ms Meadows said. A herb growing craft village was also installed at the plaza to coincide with Dirtgirl’s performances. 102067 Picture: DAMJAN JANEVSKI
