Birth class

FOOTSCRAY’S Tweddle Child and Family Health Service has joined forces with Western Health to give birth to new pre-natal classes. For the first time in 21 years, parents of the 4400 babies born every year at one of Western Health’s hospitals have the opportunity to get the low-down on pregnancy, birth and parenting at an Early Parenting Centre. The classes cover everything from pregnancy and the birth to feeding your baby, preparing to come home and early parenting. Experiencing the classes on Saturday were Lino, left, midwife and childbirth educator Melain Sommeling, and Patricia. For more information about the service, call Tweddle on 9689 1577. 68907 Picture: JOE MASTROIANNIFOOTSCRAY’S Tweddle Child and Family Health Service has joined forces with Western Health to give birth to new pre-natal classes.
