SLEEP deprivation is a serious health issue and those who live on or in the vicinity of Moore St are losing sleep nightly because of the tremendous increase in B-Double container trucks, particularly in the past year.
Constant sleep deprivation is known to cause serious health issues, and the resultant lack of concentration leads to serious accidents on roads, in the workplace (particularly in the operation of machinery), or even in the home.
However, neither local councillors nor the State Government are listening to our pleas for urgent help.
Perhaps they should come and live here to get first-hand experience of our truck nightmare.
