ONE of the biggest names in Australian comedy is returning to Werribee to bring a smile to resident’s faces.
Jimeoin, the Northern Irish comedian that calls Australia home and can make people laugh just by pulling a funny face or talking in his thick accent, will be performing at the Wyndham Cultural and Events Centre later this month.
The veteran comedian told Star the audience of his new show Lovely could expect a good dose of his famous comedy.
“You’ll get a good laugh. You’ll be none the wiser but you’ll get a good laugh,” Jimeoin said.
While he will be ready to perform when he comes to Werribee on 27 July, Jimeoin said he did not feel pressure to be funny in his day to day life.
“I don’t try to be funny all the time,” he said.
“People that try to do that don’t make good comedians, they make annoying people.”
Almost immediately after performing in Werribee Jimeoin will be heading off to Scotland to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
