TWO Footscray men aged 20 and 19 are among those charged in relation to a serious assault in Melbourne’s CBD earlier this month.
Police executed six search warrants on Friday in Maribyrnong, Footscray, Epping, Sunshine, West Footscray and St Albans.
The Footscray duo and a 20-year-old Epping man were interviewed by police and charged with recklessly causing serious injury, affray and other assault-related charges.
The men have been bailed to front the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 October.
Earlier, a Sunshine man and a Burnside man, both 20, were charged with the same offences.
