CHILDREN get a chance to take centre stage on Christmas Eve this year at St George’s Anglican Church in Footscray West.
In keeping celebrations traditional and adding their own touch of flair, this is the first year a nativity play will replace carols by candlelight.
Children from different countries, including Tonga and Sudan, will perform with English Gothic props setting a 17th century scene.
The Tongan Youth Choir will provide music for the children’s service.
Action begins at 6pm on 4 December at St George’s Anglican Church, Russell St, Footscray West.
