PLANS to develop a specialist sports school in Maribyrnong are expected to get under way this month.
The Minister for Educationa and Training, Lynne Kosky, will visit Maribyrnong Secondary College this Wednesday (8 March) to make the announcement.
The project was first approved in April last year.
State Member for Footscray Bruce Mildenhall invited Ms Kosky to visit the municipality so as to “create more momentum behind the project”.
