THE State Government will put $7500 towards a new fishing jetty on the Maribyrnong River.
The new jetty will be in Avondale Heights and will replace the previous jetty that was destroyed in the 2005 floods. The project is one of 25 being funded by the Recreational Fishing Grant Program.
