THE State Government launched the draft plans for the next 30-years of development of the Port of Melbourne yesterday.
“The draft documents outline plans for land-side infrastructure and transport links to ensure the port can handle the predicted doubling of trade over the next 30 years,” a government statement said.
Transport Minister Peter Batchelor and chief executive of the Port of Melbourne Stephen Bradford attended the launch.
