SUNSHINE Residents and Ratepayers Association (SunRRA) members have sent a letter of complaint to the Victorian Ombudsman asking for an immediate investigation into Brimbank City Council’s procedures during public meetings.
The move follows the council’s recent closed-door meeting that was mistakenly broadcast.
In the letter, SunRRA president Darlene Reilly called for an inquiry to find out who was responsible for the breaches of procedural requirements.
SunRRA members also sent a letter of complaint to the council but they are yet to receive a response.
A Brimbank Council spokesperson told Star last week that council would not be providing a comment.
