TAYLOR’S Lakes man John Higgs is one of 20 people who have been arrested across Australia, in what has been described as the world’s largest ecstasy haul.
Higgs was arrested in the recent raid on properties in Carlton and Griffith, in New South Wales.
Also arrested were Sydenham man Antonio Sergi, 34 and Salvatore Agresta, 40, of East Keilor.
Nine people have appeared in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court and were remanded to appear again on March 26 next year.
